For my first post, I am sharing one of the first cards I made, Barack Obama. I made this right before he was elected. You'll notice I usually take a theme or two of a person and incorporate them in the card. Obama's campaign was successful based entirely on two things: 'Hope' and 'Change'. I focused on 'Change', and thus gave him abilities that showed Obama is rul good at changing things. The subtle things are like his casting cost, which I set at UB, because he is a black democrat. I used this theme always when I do politicians.

Hello folks. I'm starting this blog because a year or two ago I started making "custom mtg cards" that represented real people. Mostly, I did cards of my friends, giving them abilities (including custom ones) that represented them as they would appear if they were a magic card. Towards the end of making these cards, I started making ones of politicians. My friends who saw the cards enjoyed them, so I decided to start sharing with anyone who was interested.

I want to update every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with a new card. The first post will be today. I will include a brief description explaining why the card has certain elements, as some of the choices are subtle.
